Opening Day 2024/25 Season

President Sharyn Burgemeister welcomed all those

present with a special mention to our Life Members, Ian Frick, Jeff Garrett,

Rod Schneider, Ian Graetz and Margaret Meertens. Sharyn then invited the

two Club Champions, Kathy Wallace and Peter Baverstock to roll the first four bowls for the Season.

Darryl Grear (another of our volunteers) invited bowlers to play a game

Canadian Triples with fourteen teams of three players participating in the

event. This was followed by an afternoon tea and a chance for bowlers to

chat and meet new players to the club.
